current as of August 16, 2011 Windsor no longer displays homeschooling information on their website (previous version is included below, for reference). Personal communication with the university gave the following the response: "The University does not currently have a policy for home schooled applicants. However it will assess home schooled applicants on an individual basis." Applicants would be required to submit secondary school transcripts showing results from grades 11 through 12 & may be graded either by an independent home school agency or by parents. The transcript should indicate the name of each course or subject covered, the grade received in each course & the number of hours or weeks studies. They must also include official results of standardized testing such as SAT or ACT. They require a portfolio which should include course descriptions and syllabi of the courses studied with a list of texts. Sample graded tests & essays. Resume including any volunteer experience. ======================================== (Previously on the university website) http://cronus.uwindsor.ca/units/registrar/registrar.nsf/main/0662D89AFD66A35F8525732B004EE4FB?OpenDocument current as of June 10, 2009 Required Documents for Home Schooled Applicants All home schooled applicants are evaluated for admission on an individual basis.
