***Note from Sarah: I have in my past notes that Brock allows a maximum of 5 AP credits to be granted to an incoming undergraduate student. Their current page doesn't mention this, so I'm going to search a little more and see whether I can confirm this. I'll update with a source if I can confirm. (Of course, if anyone knows for sure, simply reply to this post.) Current as of May 9, 2008 as per: http://www.brocku.ca/registrar/guidance/advanced.php We will consider the following courses for advanced placement. * Calculus AB * Calculus BC * Calculus BC *** yes, they listed it twice. They must REALLY consider it. ![]() * Chemistry * Environmental Science * Human Geography * Physics C: Mechanics * Physics B * Psychology ** A Minimum AP exam score of 4 is required |

OK, found mention of this in the 2008-2009 undergraduate calendar. I either had an extremely old source or an extremely unfortunate typo in my spreadsheet! ![]() Maximum of 2 credits. Here's what it says: VIII. Other Categories for Admission to Undergraduate Degree Studies A. Advanced Placement (AP) Advanced Placement courses may be used to determine admissibility and also granting of transfer credit or exemption. Applicants who have completed Advanced Placement courses with a minimum grade of "4" may be eligible to receive university credit to a maximum of 2.0 Brock credits. An official AP transcript is required as part of the evaluation process. Source: http://www.brocku.ca/webcal/2008/undergrad/admi.html and https://www.brocku.ca/webcal/2009/undergrad/admi.html#sec11 (Scroll down to section VIII) (It looks like the web page address changes every year to update to the latest edition of the Undergraduate Calendar. You can always visit http://www.brocku.ca/webcal/ and choose the most recent edition of the calendar, then within that, look for Admissions.) Edited by SarahRainsberger, Jan 11 2010, 08:15 PM.
